Outlia is an AI-powered B2B outreach and lead generation platform. We help sales and growth teams find high-intent prospects, personalise outreach at scale, and manage their pipeline - all in one place. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it.
By creating an account or using Outlia, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Data We Collect
Account data
When you sign up, we collect your email address and, where you provide it, your name. This is used to authenticate you, communicate with you about your account, and personalise the interface (for example, showing your initial in the top-right avatar).
Prospect and contact data
Outlia helps you find, enrich, and reach out to prospects. You import or generate prospect records - names, job titles, companies, LinkedIn profiles, and related contact information. This data belongs to you. We store it to provide the service and do not access it for any other purpose.
AI-generated content
When you use features like outreach drafting, lead intelligence, or Ask AI, your inputs and the outputs generated are processed through our AI provider and may be temporarily stored so the feature works (e.g. conversation history within a session). We do not use your content to train AI models.
Usage and telemetry data
We log standard server-side request data: the API route accessed, HTTP status codes, and response latency. We do not log the content of your requests. This data is used for debugging and platform reliability and is retained for 30 days.
Browser and device data
For fraud prevention purposes, we may collect certain browser and device signals when you log in. These signals are combined into an anonymous identifier used solely to detect trial abuse (e.g. creating multiple free-trial accounts). The identifier does not contain your name, email, or any directly identifying information and cannot be reversed. We do not share it with advertisers or use it for cross-site tracking.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests (fraud prevention - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2. Cookies and Browser Storage
Outlia uses a small number of cookies and browser storage mechanisms strictly necessary to operate the platform. These include session authentication cookies that keep you logged in, short-lived tokens used during sign-in flows, and local storage items that allow the interface to display your account information without unnecessary network requests.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or any cookies that follow you across other websites. All storage we use is essential to platform function. No cookie consent banner is shown because none of our cookies are optional or used for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Processors
We work with a limited set of trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform. Data is shared only to the extent necessary to deliver each service. Our providers fall into the following categories:
- Authentication and database infrastructure - to securely store your account data and keep your session active
- AI generation - to power outreach drafting, lead intelligence, and conversational features. Your inputs are processed to generate responses and are not used to train models.
- Lead enrichment - to retrieve publicly available professional information (job title, company, location) about prospects you search for. Only search parameters are shared, not your account data.
- Email integration - to send and receive outreach emails on your behalf when you connect an email account. Access is limited to the scope you authorise.
- Payment processing - to manage subscriptions and billing. Card details go directly to our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- LinkedIn integration - to send connection requests and messages via your connected LinkedIn account. All LinkedIn interactions are routed through an authorised integration layer.
We do not sell your data to any third party, and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To provide, operate, and improve the Outlia platform
- To authenticate you and keep your session secure
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised trial creation
- To send you transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
- To diagnose technical issues using server logs
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent, or broker your data to any third party.
5. Data Retention
- Account data - retained for the lifetime of your account, then deleted within 30 days of account closure
- CRM data (leads, contacts, outreach) - retained for the lifetime of your account, exported and deleted on request
- Device fingerprint - retained for the lifetime of your account; deleted on account deletion
- Server logs - retained for 30 days, then automatically purged
- Billing records - retained for 7 years as required by UAE commercial law
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security practices, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Firewalls and access controls
- Monitoring and anomaly detection
However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users without undue delay in compliance with applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction - request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion - request that your account and all associated data be deleted
- Portability - receive your CRM data in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON)
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests (including fingerprinting)
- Restriction - request that we restrict processing while a dispute is resolved
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
If you object to device fingerprinting, we will remove your fingerprint record. Note that this may affect our ability to offer a free trial, as fingerprinting is our primary mechanism for preventing trial abuse.
8. International Data Transfers
Outlia is operated from Dubai, UAE. Our infrastructure may be hosted in data centres outside your country of residence. When data is transferred internationally, it is done under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under applicable law. By using Outlia, you consent to these transfers.
9. Children
Outlia is a professional B2B platform. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Outlia after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
